Runn Radio, presenter Pete Moody has eclectic tastes. Raised on Herb Alpert, Motown, and The Partridge Family, his interests span multiple genres. At 16, he discovered music and politics, first hearing The Jam's "All Around the World," followed by Burning Spear. University introduced him to 80's New Wave, post-punk, New Romantics, and European Dance music.Northern Soul quickly followed when he and the now eminent photographer Mick Rudman hosted 'Disco Fridays' at Plymouth's Union Bar.
His musical education continues with Colleen Cosmo Murphy's Balearic Breakfast and shows by Professor Eddy and Stamp the Wax. For Pete, it's about setting the right mood with curated tracks to get you chilled, partying, reminiscing, or smiling.
