Ex musician and record producer, now entertainment and media lawyer: Ian appeared on shows like Top of the Pops and Wogan before crossing to what he describes as "the dark side". Ian co-founded New Media Law in January 2002, which now boasts 17 of the UK's top practitioners in the sector - acting for clients as varied as IPC Media, Playstation, the Isle of Man Government and Random House. Recent examples of Ian's work include helping Joel Jordan getting Synchtank (the world's premier synch business software) set up and funded (Ian is a director and shareholder of the company) and setting it on the road to success; selling a top indie publisher to a larger music publisher in New York, finalising a deal for a great new TV series called "Infidels", and working on the launch in Europe of the leading South American online music platform "Pleimo.com".
