Dj & Producer Pedro Marques, aka Native Soul was born on 03/03/1981 in Oporto. At the age of 16 he discovered his passion for House Music while attending high school. It was there that he started to organize and play at student parties exploring his passion and perfecting his technique.

After two years of hard training and dedication, Native Soul felt prepared to perform for a live club audience. On July, 1998 he participated in the famous Sunday matinees at the now extinct Rock's Club in Vila Nova de Gaia. Such performance only made him realize that he was on the right path to his dream.

He continued to play at his local high school while at the same time performing at local clubs and bars in Oporto and surrounding cities.
