FUNKYVIBES.NET was started during covid lockdown by Simon Start.
Simon was from the south west of England,nowadays residing in Denmark.
Simon is a DJ and has always held a passion for SOUL music with initial interest sparked in his youthclub days where he used to follow DJs including Paul Cater,John London,Tommy Gee,Chas Law.

Paul started Dj work whist still at school with some home made decks.
From an early age passionate about soul music Staple Singers,Otis Redding early okeh Atlantic and Stax.
At 16 Djd the hotel circuit in Newquay Cornwall and the Local youth clubs etc.
Went on to do a further couple of years in Newquay around the local hotel circuit and Clubs including Berties,Tall Trees,Never good enough for the sailors Lol,
