Small town hero and native to the Toronto DNB scene DJ Payne, aka Aaron Payne, has had a passion for drum and bass since his early teens. First introduced to underground bass music after a visit to Toronto in the early 2000s. This quickly turned into a big part of his life, long before he was able to attend events. After receiving his first vinyl, 'DJ Fresh- Floodlight/Tomb Raider' in 2006, he made the move to Toronto to get behind the decks. Working hard at his craft he started playing local house parties, then eventually playing at an after hours on Yonge Street in 2009. It wasn't until 2010 that he landed his first official club gig with a local production company Greenlaw, which opened up bookings with Soul in Motion, Break’n Entertainment, DNB Federation and Bassmentality.
