Utopian Facade 2016

A selection of tracks from my most played albums of 2016...there have been some brilliant scores released this year including the debut soundtrack from 65 Days of Static for the game 'No Mans Sky'. They previously recorded a re-score of Silent Running which is also essential listening. Many favourites released great work this year including John Carpenter with his 2nd album of none soundtrack work. Here on Utopian Facade he releases his inner Vangelis. Catching him live this year was a real dream come true. I also saw Clint Mansell perform again this year. He received well-earned critical acclaim for his score for High Rise but featured here is a beautiful track from his more recent work on Black Mirror. It's always great to discover new (to me) artists and this year Stupid Cosmonaut & 2814 have blown me away with their work. Enjoy.
