My career as an artist has been a varied and forever changing one.
I studied fine art at Falmouth school of art which was great as it gave me a reason to move to Cornwall which was something I always wanted to do.
After leaving I decided to stay here and see where it led me. The landscape and the sea started to become a major influence on my work. It took time to get galleries interested in accepting my paintings but finally Badcocks gallery in Newlyn gave me a solo show and things started to happen. My studio in Helston became my second home and I started to push my work forward.
Experimented with mixed media for a couple of years..used a lot of gold for various reasons.
Made my first contact with the Majlis gallery in Dubai which I didn’t realise would play such a significant role in my future.
Started showing in London with the Kings rd gallery.
Beside the wave gallery started showing my landscape work which was mainly done on location within Cornwal
