Paulinho Paes is a Brazilian-born, Netherlands-based guitarist and sound explorer. Holding a degree in popular music from São Paulo's Carlos Gomes Music College, his career spans international stages across Brazil, France and The Netherlands.

Unconstrained by genres, Paulinho’s musical universe bridges Samba, Bossa Nova, Choro, Jazz, Electronic, and Classical music. Whether playing in intimate trios, massive big bands (like XLJazz), or curating sounds, his work is driven by a deep commitment to musical diversity and pure expressive freedom.
