Married with 2 daughters, 13 and 6. Married for 21 years this year. Worked for Lloyds Bank (Lloyds TSB) for 25 years prior to taking Early Retirement on medical grounds 7 years ago. Illness now diagnosed as Pompe's Disease and I am about to start some experimental treatment that may help.

Life has pretty much been on hold for the past six years and I have had some tough times, including a life threatening illness whilst in France two summers ago when I was in a coma for two weeks and not expected to live.

Needless to say, the illness and the near death experience have had quite an effect on me although I have come through the worst of it now, I hope.

Through my growing love of Progressive Music I have come into contact with Neal Morse, formerly with Spock's Beard and Transatlantic who has a forum on his web site that I have joined and has been of great help and support.
