Soul Mining

So, it's that time of year again, Southport Weekender, second time round now in its new venue at Butlins Minehead and I can't wait. Surprising lack of teething problems last year and an awesome line up of live acts and DJs means second time around it should be even better. Anyway, to get myself (and whoever else) in the mood, here's a little mix I put together especial like. Nearly two hours, all vinyl, ramping it up as we go, few classics (Patrice, Roberta), some new (Emeralds, Jimmy Edgar, General Zod) and some that never get old (Yazoo, Albert Hammond). Picture is from outside Piccadilly Records on Record Store Day 2012. It was 4+ hours front to back, hence I went to Vinyl Exchange and bought a few of these instead. Enjoy!
