Aviation Technology

The aviation program at the Arlington Career Center is one of only four high schools in Virginia to offer flight training. It is designed for students who intend to pursue either pilot training or aviation-related career fields. By the time students have completed the course, they will have learned how to fly, pilot a real plane twice, and had the opportunity to pass the FAA Private Pilot exam. Guests: Tony Frazier, Aviation Technology instructor, Arlington Career Center; Andy Coleman, Yorktown High School; and Elliott Haney, Arlington Tech.
