Vektor started out mixing vinyl in early 2006, focusing on the underground, dark-electro waves that were hitting the island of Malta. Drifting in and out of nightclubs in the dirty backstreets of the early electro scene, Vektor became a mysterious force to be reckoned with, reaching beaming heights of energy and dark new-wave sounds. In 2010, Vektor and Craig Mac started the promotion company Binary Funk which also hosted a weekly radio program called 'Equalized' along with local events. They also became part of the local dub-step scene, where they became known as 'The Binary Funk Crew'.
