"Vitar" is a Persian rock & blues band founded in March 2012

The band members began working together in 2010 for a live performance. Later on, they continued practicing and gave out their first single, "Dark & Cold" with Parnaz Partovi as the vocalist and all the other members at the time: Morad Khojasteh Nejad, Robert Gharakhan, and Shayan Kafshi. After that, the group took a new name, "Vitar Band", and remained working together with Parnaz, Robert, and Shayan. In December 2012, Vitar gave out their second single called "Hich" or "Nothingness", lyrics by Nader Naderpour. The genre of the songs are inspired with a mixture of Jazz and Blues as well as Classical Rock, containing both acoustic and electric music
