Born in 1974 he grew up listening to classical and contemporary music as well as jazz.
By the age of 13 he discovered jazz guitar. He immediately fell in love with it and started transcribing his first solos.
He studied with Sandro Gibellini and attended seminars with Ben Monder, Steve Cardenas, Jim Hall, Joe Lovano, Jim Black and many others.
In 2005 he won a prize at Siena Jazz Summer Seminars and in the same year he joined Stefano Battaglia's Improvisation Laboratories.
He his a professional player since 2006 and collaborates with many musicians such as Nelide Bandello, Andrea Baronchelli, Stefano Battaglia, Walter Beltrami, Paolo Biasi, Piero Bittolo Bon, Roberto Bordiga, Giulio Corini, Zeno De Rossi, Sandro Gibellini, Daniel Kinzelman, Emanuele Maniscalco, Manlio Maresca, Simone Massaron, Massimiliano Milesi, Giacomo Papetti, Giulio Stermieri, Giancarlo Tossani and many others.
