About US! I am (Mal, known as Mr Paisley to some) Paisley Sky. Paisley Sky has been going for several years, primarily as a jam band. At present just Ron (bass & other) & myself (guitar & other), with help from a few friends! Both Ron & myself are into 60s Psych, jazz, folk, blues, classical, world, inde, alt you name it! In the 60s i was in cpl of bands (Soul Creation/Henry Allen Blend) that supported Small Faces, The Easybeats, The Kinks, PP Arnold, The Chasers, Skip Bifferty etc. Both bands can be checked out on Manchesterbeat.com. Have seen Otis Redding, Hendrix, Steppenwolf, Syds Pink Floyd, Zappa & The Mothers (Uncle Meat period), Beefheart, Tom Paxton, Pentangle, Arthur Lee, Byrds, Todd Rundgren, The Posies, Pixies, Flaming Lips, Urge Overkill, Steely Dan...etc..etc! & more to come. Got tickets for Black Keys & Afghan Whigs. Ron has seen The Grateful Dead several times!!!!!!!!!! & appeared in several bands. He also records as Mr Smith. Also Rob Calvin is in the Oz book of rock
