Born on 14th February 1985 in Timisoara OviJay’s first contact with music dates back to 1999, in club Evolution. He is the man behind the HeyAfterTheRide party brand and many great parties.
Ovijay started getting closer to the clubbing scene ever since 2001 when he worked as a luminist and later as a an MC. Finally he started his career as a DJ and found his one true calling.
His music is influenced by great artists like Ruben Blades, Ray Barreto , Luciano ,Frankie Knuckles.
He generally preferes house, deep house electronic music.
When talking about what makes a great atmosfere he admits that he likes to improvise a lot. Like, for example he uses acappela samples a lot in his DJ sets. His firm belief is that it doesn’t matter the tools you use or how you play, but the important thing is that the audience you mix for is having a good time and enjoying the sounds you play.
