DJ Over Monteiro

Two decades. Three countries. One unmistakable sound.

Over Monteiro cut his teeth spinning PALOP rhythms for Cape Verdean crowds in Palermo back in 2005, before chasing Hip-Hop and Latin residencies across Italy and Spain. Trained in music production at ICMP London, he builds his own mashups and remixes into every set. He then spent two straight years commanding the decks at Simmons Oxford Street. Currently resident at Core Bar, he's steadily woven Afrobeats, Amapiano, Caribbean and Latin & Brazilian sounds into an open-format room, proving he can read a crowd and still push it toward the music he loves.
