Overlay (Andrew Chibwesha) aspires to produce cutting edge sound-scapes that evoke the deepest and most vibrant emotions in listeners. The listener is the most important person after all and I am dedicated to creating sounds that are moving and encapsulating. The culture of underground music was the beginning of a colourful journey that has led to interests in digital art and visual communication. Since then the visual and audible aspects of digital art have become intertwined and the precision and versatility serve as inspiration for me to build musical theme parks filled with thrills. The connection between audio and visual has also served as inspiration to create visual artwork to accompany and live, performed show.
