Ornette is a deep house and tech house dj on the West Coast of the United States. A founding member of the North Bay Collective, he started promoting and dj'ing at warehouse parties in the SF underground in 1995. A broadcaster for MHYH radio (www.myhouseyourhouse.net) on Thursday nights, Ornette is currently a resident dj/promoter for Higher Conscience and Family Room, a bi-weekly house music event in Sebastopol, California.

Ornette has played at a variety of large and small scale venues, warehouse, forest, beach, and desert parties as well as SXSW music festival in Austin Texas.
