Vinyl Junkie aka Cuthbert Didier is a well respected DJ and owner of One Drop Sounds with hundreds of dub plates from just about any name in reggae music that you can think of. His collection of over 30,000 cds in all genres of music is impressive to the most ardent enthusiast.
Carl Gustave is the owner of Gustunes Music and is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, producer with roots in the blues, rock, soul, jazz and reggae. With four full length cds available on line or from his web site www. carlgustave.com Moving from Los Angeles, Calif. to St.Lucia in 1997 he meet Didier. The two became friends through the love of music eventually working as a live dj / guitar duo.
Most of the mixes here are done live with no head phones or overdubs, with Vinyl mixing and Carl playing guitar. Some are from the Naked Fisherman series (a beach bar in St.Lucia) and others from Didier's Oasis or Gustave's Windward Studio.
