Armed with a selection of UK Funky, Figdet House, Baile Funk and Dubstep One Boy Carnival is a cross-world underground playing DJ. I begin by playing the soulful side of UK Funky, building up slowly to the more bass drumming UK Funky songs, crossing over to the new baile funk influenced house e.g Major Lazer, and swapping between two and then dropping the odd batacuda drumming track and even old skool hardcore for a euphoric end. The aim is to be sexy, soulful and completely contagiously danceable all at the same time.
