Omar Matamoros Jr. also known as DJ Omar has been djing professionaly since 2013. He's held residencies at Pete's, a local Dallas area bar and The Silver Saloon, the high class honky tonk of east Texas. He has created and promoted his own events in his rural home town of Kaufman, which has brought out hundreds of people from the surrounding local comunities. The funky, drop mixing, party DJ makes sure that his shows are always fun, engaging, and energetic. During his free time he is either practicing his craft or creating instrumental beats and remixes. For this man music is a way of life and djing is the platform on which he can best express and share his love for the art form.
