Slackers Delight started life in 1995 in Birmingham the brainchild of 3 like-minded individuals Ollie, Bowen, Matt. Residents of Circo bar in Birmingham where you were just as likely to hear the DJ's spinning the Carpenters alongside black Sabbath as you would planet E with James brown.
In 1996 residents of FungleJunk @ The steering wheel club in Birmingham’s Chinese quarter which was to rival nights such as the heavenly social & the big beat boutique.
It was at these nights that Slacker Delight developed there 3 deck & fx beats & scratch fest. In 1998 the club moved to the infamous wobble club where it took on the new name of Nutonic. Slackers started to branch out playing such clubs as the Heavenly Social, Big Kahuna Burger, NY Sushi, Universe. By 2003 the sound was developing into a electro/acid house hybrid and with the addition of CJ aka Digital One to the production team and the DJ setup.
