Portax is a French techno producer based in Melbourne ( Australia ) and Noumea ( New-Caledonia ).

Originally from Montpellier ( France ), Portax started following the techno movement at his adolescence. This young artist broadened and constructed his musical identity by frequenting well-known techno clubs from the South of France such as “La Villa Rouge”, ”La nitro” or the after club “Bar Live”.
He soon expressed a taste for deep and dark sounds.

It is through events management and organisation that Portax initially stepped foot in the professional aspect of underground culture.

After dozens of successful events with numerous well-known techno artists, Portax decides to produce his sounds and promote his own musical identity. A few months later, Portax signs with some of the most underground techno labels like Earporn, Subwoofer, Beenoise, Biotech to released few EPs and tracks.
