On September 7th 1990, Joshua Wills Hamilton was born in Edinburgh Scotland, the city that would educate and inspire his future career. From a young age Josh was enthused and infatuated by music, and today maintains a constant fascination and appreciation with all musical components.

Brought up surrounded by music, Josh began to discover styles and artists whose work he appreciated most. One such artist was Neil Diamond, the American Jazz singer, who Josh listened to every weekend with his Granddad Billy. Josh has acknowledged this artist as a confident vicarious individual, who’s music was created to his own personal taste as he expressed his personal feelings through song. Diamonds attitude to creating work that is both deeply personal and to his selective individual taste, is what has set the groundwork for Josh’s music.
