Oceangroover aka DJ Dave James has been DJ-ing since 1992. Growing up through the rave years, a natural progression into house soon followed. Dave has played at various UK South Coast clubs & in London over the last 30 years. In the mid 90s Dave resided @ the now legendary A Loca in Sao Paulo, Brazil alongside DJ Ritchie. Back in the UK he played at numerous venues along the South Coast, with Dave C, Dazzie, Kev Scott, residing at the Voodoo Lounge. Dave has played alongside some house legends such as Danny Rampling, Brandon Block & Joey Negro.
Always moving his uplifting sound which can be heard in his HouseLIFE series as well as occasionally pulling together his disco edit series & the occasional liquid dnb mix! Taking the moniker of Oceangroover in memory of a man like Ed & THE night that was Pier Pressure in Bournemouth called OceanGrooves.
