OB'S GROWING PAINS 45'S MIXTAPE 2021

Basically, this mix represents my junior high school period into high school and the start of uni, when I’d literally watch the cool kids at my school do the running man whilst I sat back and hid behind my mullet too afraid to even ask a girl to dance. I threw in some alternative brit pop stuff that helped a rocker kid like me feel relevant back in the day amidst all the nu jack swing that I was unable to admit to liking and I also chucked in some of my fav 80’s boogie jams because they reminded me of when I had my grandmother buy me zipper pants and a singlet so I could act like I knew how to break. I then went with all the MTV club pop tracks that I guess were my first glimpses into what I thought was UK rave culture long before I ever made the trek to San Francisco for a proper Wicked party and experienced what a real rave was like and, of course, threw in pop crap that I continue to love. In essence, this mix is FUN!!! Hope you enjoy it.
