Nuwa was formed of members Malaika Shaw and Mia Lily Johnson in London. Their music see’s a mergence of many genres including Trance, Acid and Minimal Techno. Both members have a long history of music making in production and songwriting, having songs played and BBC Radio 1 and mix’s featured on Threads and Balamii.
Nüwa can be found playing many underground venues around London such as Canavan’s, Four Quarters and The Cause. Meraki, an open decks night focused on female creatives saw the formation of the duo where they played a handful of their debut performances.
