The National Rock and Blues Show was a radio program started by Ray Jennings at 2RDJ and became one of the first programs to be relayed to other stations via satellite from 2RDJ as part of the ComRadSat project in 1994. The program continued with various broadcasters including James Glendenning from 2VTR and "Tecka" from HOTfm (see below) and from 2005 was produced and broadcast in two aspects from the Powerzone studio as well as the Ray Jennings studio which ultimately attracted over 100 subscriber stations until the program was retired in 2016.

The Rock and Blues format still continues today as "Tecka's Rock & Blues Show" in the same time slot > https://www.mixcloud.com/teckastracks/
