Nixti is a Leeds based electronic producer creating sounds that blend old-skool dub, soundscapes and cutting edge dubstep.

Influenced by the pioneering dub music of artists such as ‘King Tubby’ and ‘Black Uhuru’, he aims to incorporate the vibe and feel of these sounds into his beats. Having also grown up listening to hip-hop, 90s electronica and a wide variety of rock music, he draws on elements from all these genres within his production, weaving this in with his love for the deeper and more experimental side of dubstep such as ‘DJG’, ‘Eskmo’ and ‘Breakage’ to name a few. Outside the studio, he uses Ableton for his live sets with the eventual goal being to blend live instrumentation within the club environment.
