NIKKNAME – born Nikolaos Giannopoulos – is a Greek-born, Vienna-based artist/music producer. When he makes music, he sees stories, colors, and shapes. While under the influence of minimalistic tastes, including artists like Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Sebastian Mullaert, and Voigt, NIKKNAME'S love for movies imparted his obsession with sound design as well. He started writing music at 16 and soon realized that his natural facility for communication is music. NIKKNAME has released several records, ep's singles, and remixes on notable labels, such as Traum Schallplatten, Ombra Int, and Freeride Millenium. His music often has a cinematic feeling since his optimal goal is to produce music for movies/pictures.
