The Gateway to the Golden Eras of Music - The Roadhouse is a brand new radio show on Pure 107.8FM hosted by Nigel Cartner.

The show will play the great music of the last 60 years predominately around guitar based music covering: classic rock, blues rock, blues, prog rock, americana, folk, indie, alternative, punk, garage. ska, new wave

Expect to hear tracks from well known artists but the tracks not necessarily played on the radio, as well as forgotten bands/artists/songs of the last 60 years.

The odd newer underground band/artist will feature as part of an 'If You Like That, You Might Like This' segment where we play a lesser known current band's songs that are in a similar genre to the few preceding tracks played in an attempt to inspire something new.

Other features on the show will include 'Rocking the Scene' where we pick a classic scene from a Film/TV Show which has been made all the better from the tune being played.
