had a great deal of illness and pain growing up, as well as a lot of operations; my "disease" has been in surgical remission since i turned 21 and had a radical operation to help my body function "properly". i was so blessed to be in a place where it was available.

i have an amazing family - both my immediate and extended families are so wonderful. although it doesn't seem to be part of my future to have kids of my own, i get the joy of spoiling my nieces and nephews and i've got a boat-load of them! my brother and sister-in-law have SIX kids!
