Nic Matheson is a northern lad. He likes real ale, late nights and anything electronic that’s deep.

His DJ skills have never been in doubt, but committing time to production during a degree in chemistry at Leeds Uni – well, it wasn’t to be; close friends love to mock the artist’s ability to make them wait ten years for a single piece of music.

Now in late 2011, settled back in the mother land and drawing on inspiration from 2020Vision, Maya Jane Coles, Kanio, Dale Howard and plenty more, he’s currently working on his first EP, titled ‘The Press’.
