Negative capability in action: Music that dabbles in hauntings and uncanniness while still (mostly) holding a tune. Speech, found sound, remnants from the 1960s and 1970s. Radiophonics and hauntology courtesy of the Ghost Box label, Trunk Records, and other worthy outlets. Psych-pop (or pop-sike, or what you will), cut-ups, soundtrack music, musique concrete, and whatnot. Mostly from the British Isles but with pieces thrown in from mainland Europe, Japan, and the US.
