Aufogmo, also known as Niaz, is a DJ born and raised in North London. He’s recognized for his long form DJ sets often stretching beyond 2 to 3 hours which he shares weekly on his Mixcloud profile. His mixes are a vibrant showcase of house music’s many subgenres, weaving together lo-fi chill beats, ethereal spacey textures, and touches of Latin and Afro house influences.
His journey into DJing began with a deep love for liquid drum and bass, with Calibre standing out as a major influence. Early mixes featured tracks from Calibre alongside other genre defining artists like LSB and Lenzman, laying the foundation for his evolving sound.
Over time, Aufogmo transitioned into house music, playing at intimate house parties and gradually moving into more public events. His sets have featured at venues like Colour Factory in Hackney and events hosted by Crosswires in North London. He also co hosts a show on Point Blank Radio, going back-to-back with fellow DJ and friend Jasmine Alice.
