Matt Bann is the underground moniker for Neil Bowles, A DJ with almost 20 years of expereince playing clubs and bars in the UK and abroad.

The Matt Bann project aims to explore the more darker deeper sounds of the musical spectrum.

"I love exploring new music, new sound textures, I love how music can twist with ones emotions and feelings, but I have grown frustrated when i find something so fresh but I dont have the right space to play it. A DJ is not someone who just plays music, its someone who understands the responsibility they have to give the audience an expereince, to be able to take it to the boundries, to the point were its uncomftable, but to then bring it back. I want to create those very expereinces. I dont see much point in playing to a point of being comftably numb, If the audience wants that, then they can go and listen to some pop in a more commercial setting. "
