Slipstream's style is described as somewhere between Eric Prydz and deadmau5 with a dash of the dark, progressive Markus Schulz. He began his music career in Toronto back in 2000 by spinning Trance and then shortly moved into Breaks a few years later. In 2005, he began producing his own tunes and in 2007 he released his first CD named "Digital Ecstasy".

His first off-label release was a contribution to the Progression Attack series in 2006 with the 4th installment of the series, which began his love and appreciation for the Progressive genre. Nearly 10 years later, Slipstream decided to bring back the defunct Progression Attack CD series back and has since regularly released installments, most notably #25 that released in August of 2019.
