Farrah Flosscett made her DJ debut in Washington DC at a U Street staple for music - Velvet Lounge. She then continued along that path and spun for places/events such as Broccoli City Festival, 9:30 Club, The Fillmore, Capital One Arena and H Street Festival. She currently has residencies at Lost Society, Fig & Olive and The W Hotel. Still early in her career, she has already been recruited to play for Art Basel and SXSW 2017, as well as a reoccurring guest DJ in NYC, LA, and Austin. She also had the opportunity to perform for the massive Open House festival in Trinidad and Tobago.
In addition to being the cofounder of her own collective, "Throwing Shade" - an event formulated with the sole purpose to bring the missing future Rnb and rare Hip Hop sound element to DC via nonconforming venue spaces, she also curates the music and DJs for the always edgy "Catch A Vibe" parties. She has also grown her supporting act catalog by DJing beside such artists as Brandy, Wale and Fat Trel.
