This is a letter to all of you who are wondering the real reasons why I came to this beautiful country to join the army. The reasons are simple. I don't quite know what I told all of you but… the real reason that I'm here is to become a better person. I've tried for years to change but it never really worked. There was no real discipline in my life until now. I admit the discipline here isn't really all that strict. But the fact that I rely on the money that I receive from the army to support myself is giving me a change of thought. At first I thought of coming here just to become a better person and change my thoughts on life. My thoughts on life have changed. I no longer hate the life I have. I walked like a "dead man" and people thought I was always depressed because of it. But I'm far from depressed I just didn't realize how great of a life I had before I came here.
