Nate is a Minneapolis-based DJ, producer, and label founder whose roots trace back to Midwest rave culture of the 1990s. Active since 1994, he remains a DJ first, shaped by long nights in warehouses, basements, and early club spaces where selection, stamina, and reading a room mattered most. His DJing is marked by absurd energy behind the decks and a foundation in turntablism, often drawing strong post-set reactions across newcomers, regulars, and longtime heads alike.
Grounded primarily in house music with Chicago and Detroit lineages, his production also extends into techno, ghetto tech, and drum & bass through parallel monikers. He held a multi-year residency at First Avenue Nightclub, released extensively across respected underground labels, and is the founder of Pluralistic Records and Do U Boo Records.
