Australia
Today, I describe myself as a hobby DJ. Back in the 00's I played a range of clubs, bush doofs and FM radio in Australia. I had a residency playing full moon parties on Magnetic Island and supported several touring acts including the Ministry of Sound tour. My style was, and still is, quite diverse - progressive, breaks, tech-house, house, and techno, basically whatever suited the crowd. Around early 10's, I pretty much hung up the headphones for playing live gigs.
I love a mix project - to explore a new style, new tracks, discover new artists. I try to create something authentic but fresh in my mixes. I want it be something like those CD's that changed my perception back in the day - Northern Exposure, DJ Kicks, Mushroom Jazz, Global Underground, etc. These are planned studio mixes - quite different to playing clubs. I like a mix I can go back to - listen a second, third, fourth time, and each time find new rhythm and sounds. I hope you enjoy my journeys by DJ.
