Techno
Mutual Minds is a dj/producer team formed in 2013.
The 2 friends behind this team are Rendra Welcker and Bjorn van Iperen.
Rendra and Bjorn where interested in electronic music at very early age.
They both started buying there turntables and records at a age of 14 year.
And they started to train there mixxing skills.
However Rendra was more interested in the hardcore and harder techno sounds.
While Bjorn was more into the house, tech-house, and techno music.
Both dj's followed there own roads.
Rendra played on a lot of hardcore party's and now and then on some techno parties.
Back in 2008 Rendra also participated in a dj contest and won this one. This earned him a spot to play on the rookie stage of Decibel Outdoor.
While Bjorn played mostly on Tech-house party's under his alter ego: Bjorn Bash.
In 2012 they where asked if they could perform a back 2 back techno session. This went so well that they decided to combine there skills.
Mutual Minds was born.
