Melone Shurney also known as “DJ SHURN” has been the essence of the mentality, “simply marvelous”. Graduating from Lincoln College in May of 2016 and retrieving his master’s in business administration at Roosevelt University in 2021. Melone began his journey of self-growth on multiple fronts.

While finding his way within the education sector to become an Assistant Dean of Students at Friendship Capitol High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in August of 2016. After, committing two years of his life to the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana he decided to take his talents back to his hometown of Chicago, IL. Melone then accepted a role to become the Dean of Students at CICS Basil Elementary School. Melone has also been able to dedicate his time to becoming an emerging DJ in a competitive market in the city of Chicago. Most notably known as "SHURN" a phrase new to all but just like his mindset he leaves a “simply marvelous” impression with everyone he crosses paths with.
