“Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, mrshl is the founder and head operator of the recurring UK music party and indie record label, Bay Sine SF. Having lived in London during childhood, mrshl wields a keen understanding of more traditional English styles whilst adding a decidedly Californian spin to it. With tracks spanning the gambit of influences from classically inspired Dubstep, to hard hitting Grime instrumentals, 90’s Jungle, Hip-Hop, RnB and even a bit of early House music, mrshl has built up an anthology of eclectic originals and dubplates that touch upon all the key elements of modern bass music. Having recently come into his own, mrshl has signed multiple releases for vinyl to be announced later this year, and is working on multiple projects with Mike Skinner collaborator and rising Grime star, Grim Sickers.
