I started my DJ career in Durban – South Africa during the early 90’s, working in most of the popular commercial nightclubs. Being resident DJ for 7 years in one of Durban’s most popular clubs “Bonkers”, helped me grow my career, taught me a lot on how to read a crowd and how important song choice is to make a night a success. While still working in clubs I took on mobile Djing - with this I found my professionalism and the realization that with this job I can make people happy. I was taught by the best in Durban in the 90’s and have taken that knowledge of Djing on Turntables, CD Players, CDJ’s and now controllers. My passion is music, being professional in this industry is key and to be able to play requests and please a crowd is what I enjoy doing. Getting those compliments at the end of the evening or live social media gig makes this worthwhile and rewarding seeing people happy on this planet.
