Mister Dereloid aka Darrell Tapley, has been doing his part to provide a steady source of legit house and techno to Maine since the death of the 90's rave scene. He started djing and collecting vinyl in late '95/96 after 4 years of being fully immersed in the thriving Northeast rave scene.
Dereloid has held residencies and thrown events in Portland since 1999. Dereloid’s monthly party FOUNDATION is a decade strong thus far at Flask Lounge in Portland, ME.
Dereloid has played all over the Northeast including Boston and Providence. Plus, Detroit, Brooklyn, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and a couple trips to Ottawa, Canada. He has shared the stage with djs such as Atnarko, DJ Sneak, Jason Hodges, Josh Wink, Mike Clark, Monkey Safari and many more.
His sets are a unique blend of downtempo, house and techno.
