Rich Austin started playing bass in his first band when he was barely out of short trousers (although admittedly trousers are generally too short), and has never looked back. Tasting success for the first time in the latter half of the 20th century with 'The Vibration Doctors' and the critically acclaimed 'ObedientBone', Rich finally found his front-man groove in 2009 with his solo project Fat Battery and then later that year with Mozura.

Initially teaming up with solo singer/songwriter and ex-art-college-bandmate Law Turley, the two enlisted the talents of Mo Oram (Selectiv', The Invisible Opera Company of Tibet) after a characteristically late night drinking session in the summer of 2009 spawned some wonderful three-part harmonies.
