Club DJ for the Capri in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA from 1987-90. Returning to the decks because it's fun; the new tecnology has made it easier to mix and adds new dimensions allowing djs to add more expression to the mix. It also takes up less space; it's no longer necessary to buy vinyl or cd's.
I like trance, electro, dubstep, breaks. I don't know presently if I'll return to playing in public. I used to do this for hours at a time, twice every weekend, but now it's all I can do to get an hour mix down. Familiarity with the music is key, and while I like a lot of what I hear, what I know well enough to perform is a considerably smaller subset of music. I waveride a lot when I practice.
