Mosko's enthusiasm for music has always been off the charts, as has his desire to share that with those around him. After decades of making literal mixtapes, often for an audience of one, he grew frustrated with the constraints of his skillset, and began to teach himself the related but much more immediate craft of live DJing. That mixtape background, with its emphasis on an overall arc and thematic coherence, continues to inform his live sets and biweekly internet radio shows. Mosko has played everything from karaoke and trivia to holiday parties, fire festivals, ‘80s nights, and summer campouts. While he has cultivated some pretty obscure tastes in the course of following those rabbit holes wherever they may lead, he remains unironically enthusiastic about all the cheesy stuff he grew up hearing on the radio, and will most likely not only play your guiltiest favorites, but sing along at full volume himself.
